• Settings / work environment where locums are placed: This should include details about the site, how many social workers in the team, the make up of the team (whether the team in multi-disciplinary), how much depth of experience in existing team members so we can gauge where support is needed, hierarchy of the team – who reports to who and is responsible for who, details of any recent or imminent changes to the team or department
• Caseload and expectations: How many on caseload, useful information about demographic of caseload, any recent incidents or specific challenges, level of support provided, level of responsibility / decision making,
• Specific skills / experience / Training: Details on any specific area of expertise or training required e.g. Experience of doing pre-birth assessments, achieving the Child care award etc.
We will ask the supplier to confirm the last training they did towards their 90 hours or 15 days of continuous professional development where applicable.
